About the Cottage
Situated in the front row of the holiday complex, this comfortable sea-facing self-catering unit can accommodate 5 guests. The first bedroom contains a double bed and has a sea view. The second bedroom is furnished with bunk beds and a single bed. The unit has a kitchen with all the basic amenities, bathroom, lounge, and patio with built-in braai.
- Bedroom 1: Double bed with a sea-facing view (sleeps 2).
- Bedroom 2: Bunk beds and a single bed (sleeps 3).
- Bathroom: Bath, basin and toilet.

Room Service
Linen is changed on Friday if your staying on for another week.
Cottages are cleaned Monday to Friday (excl. holidays). This includes cleaning the floors, bathroom, stove, and dustbins.
Braai Facilities
The sea-facing patio has a built-in braai. Includes braai grid, tongs, and outdoor furniture (table and chairs).
Beach Amenities
Outside showers for rinsing off sea sand.
Extra towel rails for all those wet beach towels.
A basic wall-mounted rod holder for fishing rods.
Kitchen
Equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, cutlery and crockery.
Fan
Free-standing fan for those hot summer days and nights.
TV
Television and Openview decoder. Guests are welcome to bring their own DSTV decoder and card.
Security
Automated motor gate access and electric fencing.
All units are fitted with burglar bars and security gates.
Parking
There is one parking bay available per cottage.
Parking for trailers available in the wash line area.

Check-in & Check-out
Check-in:Â Check-in time is from 12 pm. If the cottage has been cleaned and is ready before 12 pm, you may have access to the room earlier. Upon arrival, you will be asked for identification. Please have this information ready to facilitate your check-in process.
Check-out:Â Check-out time is 8 am, but if you need a late check-out, then contact our reception during your stay, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Keys must be deposited in the post box just before the gate before departing.

House Rules
Cleaning of Fish: Cleaning of fish is not permitted inside or outside the cottages.
Laundry: Washbasins for the washing of clothes are available at the wash line area. Washing of clothes is not permitted inside the cottages.
Parking: There is one parking bay available per cottage. Parking and/or riding on the lawn is prohibited. Visitors must please arrange with management where to park. Trailers are to be parked in the wash line area.
Pets: Although we love animals, we regret that we cannot accept pets on the premises.
Night Rules / Noise: Please consider your fellow guests and keep noise to a minimum. No noise at all after 9 pm.
Minors: Minors are the sole responsibility of the parents, guardian(s), or the person or persons in whose care they are whilst at Mac's Cottages or whilst using its facilities.
Monkeys: Please do not feed or encourage the vervet monkeys as they are wild animals. Vervets are opportunistic feeders, so donât give them the opportunity to take what is yours. Please ensure that you securely close all windows and doors when you go out during the day. Keep all food out of sight. It is a privilege and joy to observe them going about their business, so remember to keep a respectful distance when doing so.
Security: For your security and safety, kindly ensure that doors, security gates, and windows are kept locked at night and during the day when you leave your cottage.
Smoking: All cottages are 100% non-smoking (and vaping) units and smoking is only permitted in public areas outside when using an ashtray.
Valuables: Mac's Cottages will not accept any liability for loss of or damage to any valuables or property belonging to guests or their visitors. It is therefore the sole responsibility of all guests to safeguard their valuables and make arrangements for adequate insurance coverage on all valuable items prior to arrival at Mac's Cottages. This includes but is not limited to, photographic equipment, laptops or other electronic devices, jewellery, cash and vehicles.
Right of Admission Reserved: Mac's Cottages at all times reserves the full right of admission and accepts no liability for any loss or damage that may result from the legal and reasonable exercising of such rights.
Hazardous Goods & Unacceptable Behaviour: Gambling, contraband, prostitution, weapons, explosives, flammable objects, poisons, drugs, animals and pungent food are strictly prohibited on the premises.
Loss or Damage to Mac's Cottages: Should Mac's Cottages suffer any loss or damage as a result of an act or omission by a guest or visitor of a guest, the guest will remain liable for full reimbursement of such loss or damage incurred and will be billed accordingly.
General Indemnity: Whilst every care has been taken by Mac's Cottages to ensure the safety of guests and their possessions whilst enjoying our accommodation, Mac's Cottages and the owners do not accept any liability in the event that any loss or damage to persons or property is experienced by a guest and their visitors.
Amendment of Rules: The management reserves to itself the right to add to, alter or amend any of the above terms conditions and rules.
